Oh hello hey hi new bottles of metallic paint! My favorite part after doing a rough color block is going back for the second and third layer of detail. Tonight I’m going to begin adding gold to the cool toned painting, and silver to the warm toned one. Who else is in love round canvasses?

About Time

Every artist whether you’re a photographer, singer, or painter can relate when an unexpected burst of inspiration strikes you. You know what I’m talking about! An idea popped in your head, and you ended up spending your free time scribbling everything about it to make it come to fruition. Today is the day I finally launched my art website!! It’s still on private mode, but it’s up and running so I just need to add photos. I’m excited to announce that I’ll be doing live paintings for weddings!

For months I’ve been talking about how I’ve been wanting to paint again, but there wasn’t a subject matter I was particularly interested in. Once the sudden inspiration was back, my fiancé Anthony (yes, 185 more days to go!) took me to Blicks art store for Valentine’s Day, and I can’t wait to put my new acrylic paint to use!
